Laredo, Texas (Webb County) — On Friday, December 3, 2021, the Webb County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division investigated a residence located at 2101 Aldama Street for the suspicion of narcotics trafficking. Investigators executed a narcotics search warrant, which resulted in the discovery of 30 grams of a white powdery rocky substance believed to be cocaine and packaged in a manner known to be used for street-level narcotic sells.
Also discovered inside the residence was more than $80,000 in cash and a firearm along with four loaded magazines.
Sergio Felix Ortega was charged with possession of controlled substance and possession of marijuana, while Monica Lee Flores was charged with possession of controlled substance. Ortega and Flores were transported to the Webb County Jail.
“We need to all work together for a safer Laredo and Webb County, and one way of doing so is by making sure our neighborhoods are clear of drugs and violence,” said Sheriff Martin Cuellar. “I remind the public to please report any suspicious activities by calling our office hotline at 956-415-BUST (2878).
