United High School 9th Grade Campus Celebrates Our Greatest Patriots

(Laredo, Texas)-The United High School 9th grade campus hosted “Breakfast with a Veteran” in honor of those who served our country. Students and their loved ones were treated to a breakfast ceremony that included artwork created by Elsa Martinez’s Pre-AP art class, a thank you letter written by Liliana Saldana’s English I Pre-AP students, and a video presentation commemorating our heroes created by the Class of 2025.
The guest speaker was Chief Rojelio Martinez. Associate principal Arelene Treviño remarked that the campus was honored to celebrate those who served. “Their sacrifice deserves a lifetime of recognition.”, said Treviño. Assistant Principal Michelle Gomez added that the campus wanted to offer Veterans a memorable day of gratitude for all of their sacrifices.
