Los Obispos Middle School Proudly Graduates “Parenting Partners” Class

(Laredo, Texas)-Recently, the Parenting Partners initiative at Los Obispos Middle School hosted a breakfast and graduation ceremony for parents who completed Positive Parenting classes. The six-part class teaches skill sets that help parents enhance their child’s education and personal growth.
This year’s theme was Building for a Brighter Future. “Today we were delighted to celebrate the graduation of 10 parents who participated in the program. Working closely with our parents and having partnership initiatives like the Positive Parenting classes ultimately gives our students an even greater outlook for success now and in the future” said Principal Olga Cantu. The graduation ceremonies were coordinated by school counselors Brenda Cognata and Christian Davila.
