AHS Band Earns U.I.L. Area G Championship

(Laredo, Texas)-The John B. Alexander High School Outdoor Performance Ensemble earned the title of U.I.L. Area G Champion amongst 22 Region certified band programs throughout South Texas on October 30, 2021.
Their competitive field production is entitled Are We Alone? and includes musical selections by Strauss, Elgar, Katy Perry, Goldsmith, Salvatori, and O’Donnell. Throughout the production the audience is actively engaged musically and visually on a journey that encourages the observer to enjoy and ponder the questions of space and its vast possibilities.
