(Laredo, Texas)-Students at Freedom elementary school had some fun commemorating Red Ribbon Week by wearing pajama attire to school. “We had our students engaged in Red Ribbon Week by making it fun.
This year’s theme is “Dream Big and Choose to Stay Drug-Free”. Our students unified by taking the pledge and we rewarded them with activities that reinforce the message of staying drug-free” said Principal Michelle Silva. Red Ribbon Week is observed nationally between October 23-31. It is the nation’s oldest and largest drug prevention program/campaign for K-12 grade students.
