(Laredo, Texas)-As part of Texas A&M International University’s (TAMIU) commitment to a full, on-campus experience this Fall 2021, incoming and returning students will have a chance to take part in a slew of activities, all culminating in an exciting fireworks display.
Organized through the Office of Student Orientation, Leadership and Engagement, TAMIU’s annual Welcome Week activities are scheduled Monday, Aug. 23 – Friday, Aug. 27.
Enrolled students can RSVP to an event or to access virtual activities, visit Trailblazers at https://tamiu.campuslabs.com/engage/.
Welcome Week is an annual week-long program of activities aimed at helping students transition to University life. All events are free and open to currently enrolled students.
This year’s celebration is particularly special as it ends with an on-campus fireworks display. The “Dusty’s Lights Fireworks Extravaganza” happens Friday, Aug. 27 at 9 p.m. at the Academic Innovation Center parking lot.
