City of Laredo Presented Key to the City to Federico Reyes

Laredo, Texas – On Monday, August 2, 2021, Council Member for District 3, Mercurio Martinez, III, virtually conducted a special recognition for Mr. Federico “Kiko” Reyes. Because of his outstanding service to the Laredo community and his due diligence in watching over our water, Mr. Reyes received this honor at City Hall Council Chambers. Mayor Pete Saenz, together with Council Member for District 7, Vanessa Perez, and Council Member for District 8, Alyssa Cigarroa, co-sponsored this item. Mayor Saenz and Council Member Perez addressed Mr. Reyes, expressing that his actions were appreciated.
Also, Mayor Saenz presented Mr. Reyes with the Key to the City, which is the highest honor that the City can bestow on a citizen for their good intentions and efforts for the community. Mr. Reyes’ vigilant stance is acknowledged.The City appreciates his alliance and his advocacy for the Laredo community.
