City, County Confirm Seven New COVID-19 Related Deaths

LAREDO, Texas – The City of Laredo and Webb County have SEVEN new confirmed deaths related to COVID-19. The City and County want to express their most sincere condolences to the families of those who have lost a loved one through this pandemic and want them to know that counselors and teams are available to support them.
· The 901st death of a Webb County resident was a male in his early-40s. He died on Friday, August 27, 2021.
· The 902nd death of a Webb County resident was a female in her late-60s. She died on Friday, August 27, 2021.
· The 903rd death of a Webb County resident was a female in her late-60s. She died on Saturday, August 28, 2021.
· The 904th death of a Webb County resident was a female in her mid-80s. She died on Sunday, August 29, 2021.
· The 905th death of a Webb County resident was a male in his mid-50s. He died on Monday, August 30, 2021.
· The 906th death of a Webb County resident was a male in his mid-40s. He died on Sunday, August 29, 2021.
· The 907th death of a Webb County resident was a male in his mid-50s. He died on Monday, August 30, 2021.
As of 5:00 PM on Monday, August 30, 2021, a total of: 397,956 people have been tested; 49,885 have resulted positive; 516 are estimated active (8/29/2021: 587; 8/28/2021: 673).
