USHS First Annual Panther Football Booster Golf Classic A Grand Success

(Laredo, Texas)-Recently, the United South High School’s Football Booster Club hosted the “1st Annual Panther Football Golf Classic” fundraiser. The hugely successful event drew 90 golfers who played as forty five 2-man scramble teams. The tournament raised a sum of $10,000.00 for the club, and prizes were awarded to the top three teams. “The event did very well thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and players. We also wish to thank Dr. Hector Lopez DDS, who provided us with closest to the pin prizes, the Kona Ice Cream truck and sponsorships for several teams”, said USHS athletic trainer and event coordinator Javi Valverde.
