United ISD Superintendent David H. Gonzalez Elected to South Texas Association of Schools Board of Director

(Laredo, Texas)-United ISD is proud to announce that Superintendent of Schools, Mr. David H. Gonzalez, was recently elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the South Texas Association of Schools (STAS). Mr. Gonzalez’s seat on the Board of Directors will allow him to provide guidance and direction on education-related bills during state legislative sessions. Mr. Gonzalez brings over three decades of decorated experience to the Board of Directors and has a clear understanding of the needs of students in the South Texas region.
Mr. Gonzalez joins the STAS Board of Directors, composed of esteemed superintendents from around South Texas, including Zapata ISD, Roma ISD, and various other school districts.
