Laredo Federal Credit Union Hosts Drive-Thru Scholarship Ceremon

(Laredo, Texas)-Recently, the Laredo Federal Credit Union (LFCU), awarded $500.00 scholarship checks to several local high school graduates. A total of 9 students from United ISD were among the recipients at the drive – thru award ceremony that took place at LFCU’s McPherson Road location.
President/C.E.O Rafael Martinez and several co-workers coordinated the event. “Laredo Federal Credit Union believes in higher education because it helps create a stronger workforce, and boosts the number of first generation college graduates in our community”, said Martinez. United ISD thanks the Laredo Federal Credit Union for their generosity.
