9-1-1 and LPD to Provide School Supply Giveaway Drive-thru Event

LAREDO, Texas – The 9-1-1 Regional Administration, in conjunction with Laredo Police Department, are currently coordinating the School Supply Giveaway Drive-Thru Event. Registration is now available until Friday, June 11, 2021, at the Laredo Police Department’s main lobby, open from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
The organizers offered this event yearly, but to continue with COVID-19 related safety precautions, they have decided to make this year’s giveaway into a drive-thru event which will take place on June 25th, 2021. There will be 1,800 backpacks and school supplies available for distribution. A proof of school enrollment will be required per child.
