Lady Longhorn Volleyball Player Signed to Play for Western Nebraska Community College

(Laredo, Texas)-United High School senior Ana Karen Chavez signed a Letter of Intent for Western Nebraska Community College in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Chavez has played volleyball for United High School for three years as a defensive specialist – and was part of the winning 2019 and 2020 District Champ teams.
” I feel excited and blessed to have a chance to play at the collegiate level. This is really a dream come true, and I want to thank my parents for being my top supporters, and for all those early morning rides to practice and games.
They have been with me every step of the way” said Chavez. Ana also thanked her coach Leticia Longoria for supporting her throughout her experience as a proud Lady Longhorn. Her future plans include the study of biology.
