Webb County Elections Office to Hold Mock Election

(Laredo, Texas)-The Webb County Elections Office will be conducting a mock election to give voters an opportunity to test drive its new voting machines.
“Webb County recently received all new voting machines and by doing this mock election voters will be able to practice the process of casting their vote,” said Elections Administrator Jose Salvador Tellez. “The machines are state of art and are a welcomed change to our election process.”
The mock election will take place May 3rd through May 7th at six locations throughout the city from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The public is invited to participate in the mock election and see first-hand how the new voting equipment works.
