City of Laredo Announces Farragut St. and Flores Ave. Intersection Closure

Laredo, TEXAS – Starting on Tuesday, April 6, through June 15, 2021, the City of Laredo Engineering Department will commence Phase II of the drainage and utilities improvements from the intersection of Farragut St. and Flores Ave., which heads South to Hidalgo St. The Hildalgo/Flores intersection will not be closed. Flores Ave. will be closed from Farragut St. to just North of Hidalgo St. Work will be typically done Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Engineering Department will do their best to keep the sidewalks open to allow access to businesses. Improvements located at the intersection of Matamoros Street & Flores Avenue have been completed. This intersection will open for traffic on April 6th.
