City, County Confirm New COVID-19 Related Deaths

LAREDO, Texas – The City of Laredo and Webb County have TWO new confirmed deaths in Webb County related to COVID-19. The City and County want to express their most sincere condolences to the families of those who have lost a loved one through this pandemic and want them to know that our counselors and our teams are available to support them.
The 832nd death of a Webb County resident was a male in his mid-40’s. He died on Tuesday, April 20, 2021.
The 833rd death of a Webb County resident was a male in his early-40’s. He died on Tuesday, April 20, 2021.

As of 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, a total of: 331,141 people have been tested; 43,614 have resulted positive (4/20/21 43,585) 140 are estimated active (4/20/21 131); 42,641 persons are estimated recovered (4/20/21 42,623); 18 are currently hospitalized (2 of which are in the ICU); as of 4/19/21, hospitalization rate is at 5.53% (4/18/21 4.59%) and 833 people have died.
