City, County Confirm New COVID-19 Related Deaths

LAREDO, Texas – The City of Laredo and Webb County have TWO new confirmed deaths in Webb County related to COVID-19. The City and County want to express their most sincere condolences to the families of those who have lost a loved one through this pandemic and want them to know that our counselors and our teams are available to support them.
The 830th death of a Webb County resident was a male in his late-60’s. He died on Monday, April 19, 2021.
The 831st death of a Webb County resident was a male in his early-50’s. He died on Monday, April 19, 2021.

As of 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 19, 2021, a total of: 329,699 people have been tested; 43, 548 have resulted positive (4/17/21 43,515; 4/18/21 43, 525) 113 are estimated active (4/17/21 123; 4/18/21 110); 42,604 persons are estimated recovered (4/17/21 42, 563; 4/18/21 42,586) ; 23 are currently hospitalized (6 of which are in the ICU), hospitalization rate is at 4.09% (4/16/21 5.10%) and 831 people have died.
