Alexander’s District Setter of The YearSigns Full Ride Scholarship to OLLU

(Laredo, Texas)-Rebekah Bustamante, a star volleyball player for the Lady Bulldogs, has signed a Letter of Intent for a full ride scholarship at Our Lady of The Lake University in San Antonio, Texas.
Bustamante is coming off a successful senior season in which she was named District Setter of the Year. A ceremony was held at the Alexander High School Gymnasium, where Coach Ariana Bermea-Lopez praised the senior for her achievements.
“She’s a very hard worker and she’s earned this opportunity. We are happy to see that she is going to take her athleticism to the next level, said Bermea.”
“I feel extremely fortunate and grateful this has been my dream since I was a child, said Bustamante.”
Rebekah will begin her OLLU Saint career by studying Biology and playing Volleyball.
