Alexander Lady Bulldogs Sign Soccer Scholarships

(Laredo, Texas)-Congratulations to four lady bulldog soccer athletes who recently signed college scholarships. A ceremony was held at the Alexander high school gymnasium where Coach Erika Alcaraz praised the four seniors for what they hadaccomplished under difficult circumstances. “It’s been an honor and a blessing to watch young women like these excel as athletes and students. Their commitment, work ethic and outright determination will carry over to their collegiate experience, and they will continue to make their high school and city very proud”, said Alcaraz.
Sara Nishiyama signed a Letter of Intent for a full ride scholarship at St. Louis Community College in St. Louis Missouri;
Regina Nishiyama signed a Letter of Intent for a full ride scholarship locally at Texas A&M International University. Sara and Regina are the daughters of Mr. Hugo Nishiyama and Teresa Santos.
Abigail Gonzalez signed a Letter of Intent for a full ride scholarship at Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas. Abigail is the daughter of Luis Gonzalez and Elaine Gonzalez.
Idania Dominguez signed a Letter of Intent for a full ride scholarship at Garden City Community College in Garden City, Kansas. Idania is the daughter of Luis Dominguez and Idania Domnguez.
