Laredo City Council Recognizes Medline for Their Generous Donation

Laredo, TEXAS – On February 1, 2021, the City of Laredo Council recognized Medline for their generous contribution by donating 14,000 face masks and 3,500 hygiene kits during their meeting.
The donation has been received by the Laredo Police Department Community Relations Unit to distribute to the community, making sure everyone in need has a mask to stay safe during this crisis. Masks & kits will also be distributed at our vaccination drives. Medline’s donation came in during a time when the whole community works together to help curb and stop the spread of COVID-19.
“I want to recognize these community partners that want to help and make this donation. I am proud to say that instead of receiving this donation myself, the Laredo Police Department Community Relations Unit will oversee the distribution of these items. We are very proud of Medline for their assistance during this time”, said District 7 Council Member, Vanessa Perez.
Mayor Pete Saenz, city council members, and management extend their gratitude to Medline for this gesture.
