City, County Confirm New COVID-19 Related Deaths

LAREDO, Texas – The City of Laredo and Webb County have ONE new confirmed deaths in Webb County related to COVID-19. The City and County want to express their most sincere condolences to the families of those who have lost a loved one through this pandemic and want them to know that our counselors and our teams are available to support them.
The 771st death of a Webb County resident was a male in his mid-50’s. He died Friday, February 19, 2021.
Stay home if you are sick and call your doctor. Do not go to the doctor’s office, call your doctor first. If it is an emergency, call 9-1-1.
As of 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 21, 2021, a total of: 296,943 people have been tested; 42,489 have resulted positive (187 are active); 41,531 persons have estimated recovered; 83 are currently hospitalized (40 of which are in the ICU), hospitalization rate is at 18.33% and 771 people have died.
