City, County Confirm New COVID-19 Related Deaths

LAREDO, Texas – The City of Laredo and Webb County have TWO new confirmed deaths in Webb County related to COVID-19. The City and County want to express their most sincere condolences to the families of those who have lost a loved one through this pandemic and want them to know that our counselors and our teams are available to support them.

The 734th death of a Webb County resident was a male in his mid-60’s. He died Sunday, February 14, 2021.

The 735th death of a Webb County resident was a female in her mid-50’s. She died Sunday, February 14, 2021.

Stay home if you are sick and call your doctor. Do not go to the doctor’s office, call your doctor first. If it is an emergency, call 9-1-1.

As of 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 15, 2021, a total of: 294,351 people have been tested; 42,387 have resulted positive (659 are active); 40,993 persons have estimated recovered; 108 are currently hospitalized (54 of which are in the ICU), hospitalization rate is at 23.48% and 735 people have died.
