City, County Confirm 3 New COVID-19 Related Deaths

LAREDO, Texas – The City of Laredo and Webb County have THREE new confirmed deaths in Webb County related to COVID-19. The City and County want to express their most sincere condolences to the families of those who have lost a loved one through this pandemic and want them to know that our counselors and our teams are available to support them.
The 766th death of a Webb County resident was a male in his late-40’s. He died Wednesday, February 17, 2021.
The 767th death of a Webb County resident was a male in his early-50’s. She died Thursday, February 18, 2021.
The 768th death of a Webb County resident was a male in his mid-80’s. He died Thursday, February 18, 2021.
Stay home if you are sick and call your doctor. Do not go to the doctor’s office, call your doctor first. If it is an emergency, call 9-1-1.
As of 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2021, a total of: 295,300 people have been tested; 42,483 have resulted positive (332 are active); 41,383 persons have estimated recovered; 79 are currently hospitalized (30 of which are in the ICU), hospitalization rate is at 20.68% and 768 people have died.
