City of Laredo Health Department Announces South Clinic Opening

LAREDO, TEXAS – The City of Laredo Health Department is pleased to announce the opening of the South Clinic, which is located inside the Santa Rita Express Library at 83 Prada Machin Drive. The opening is scheduled for Thursday, January 07, 2021.
The South Clinic will offer a variety of primary care services, which include free COVID-19 testing and behavioral health screenings. No appointment is necessary for COVID-19 testing. Other services include physicians/nurses on site, laboratory services, medication assistance, depression/anxiety screenings, nutritional counseling, and more. The South Clinic will operate on Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
“We are excited to expand medical resources in our community,” stated Laredo’s Health Director, Richard Chamberlain. “Our staff looks forward to providing our community with the utmost medical care and attention.” The Laredo Health Department would also like to thank the Meadows Foundation for their support and continuing to advocate for improvement on Texans’ health care and mental health services.
