D.P.S. Celebrates Academic Accomplishments of Kennedy-Zapata Students

(Laredo, Tx)-Recently, Kennedy – Zapata elementary school recognized their top academic boys and girls at each grade level during their 8th annual ‘Dando Gracias’ celebration.
The event, sponsored by the Texas Department of Public Safety, awards each winner a trophy and a holiday turkey complete with all the trimmings. ” Thank you to the great people at D.P.S. for taking time to support public school education and students who set the bar high as academic role models”, said Principal Thelma J. Martinez.
