City, County Confirm New COVID-19 Related Deaths

LAREDO, Texas—The City of Laredo and Webb County have SIX new confirmed death in Webb County related to COVID-19. The City and County want to express their most sincere condolences to the families of those who have lost a loved one through this pandemic and want them to know that our counselors and our teams are available to support them.
The 421st death of a Webb County resident was a female in her mid-70s. She died on Saturday, December 05, 2020.
The 422nd death of a Webb County resident was a female in her early-80s. She died on Sunday, December 06, 2020.
The 423rd death of a Webb County resident was a male in his early-50s. He died on Monday, December 07, 2020.
The 424th death of a Webb County resident was a male in his late-70s. He died on Monday, December 07, 2020.
The 425th death of a Webb County resident was a female in her midy-70s. She died on Monday, December 07, 2020.
The 426th death of a Webb County resident was a male in his mid-80s. He died on Monday, December 07, 2020.

As of 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 08, 2020, a total of 141,438 people have been tested, 21,848 have resulted positive (1,465 are active), 19,957 persons have estimated recovered, 153 are currently hospitalized (48 of which are in the ICU), hospitalization rate 29.9% and 426 have died
