City, County Confirm 9 New COVID-19 Related Death

LAREDO, Texas—The City of Laredo and Webb County have NINE new confirmed death in Webb County related to COVID-19. The City and County want to express their most sincere condolences to the families of those who have lost a loved one through this pandemic and want them to know that our counselors and our teams are available to support them.

The 444th death of a Webb County resident was a female in her mid-90’s. She died on Thursday, December 10, 2020.

The 445th death of a Webb County resident was a female in her late-60’s. She died on Thursday, December 10, 2020.

The 446th death of a Webb County resident was a female in her late-70’s. She died on Monday, November 16, 2020.

The 447th death of a Webb County resident was a female in her ealy-70’s. She died on Sunday, November 22, 2020.

The 448th death of a Webb County resident was a female in her late-60’s. She died on Friday, November 27, 2020.

The 449th death of a Webb County resident was a male in his mid-60’s. He died on Sunday, December 13, 2020.

The 450th death of a Webb County resident was a male in his early-80’s. He died on Thursday, August 13, 2020.

The 451st death of a Webb County resident was a female in her early-70’s. She died on Sunday, December 13, 2020.

The 452nd death of a Webb County resident was a female in her early-70’s. She died on Monday, December 14, 2020.

Stay home if you are sick and call your doctor. Do not go to the doctor’s office, call your doctor first. If it is an emergency, call 9-1-1.

As of 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 14, 2020, a total of 149,754 people have been tested, 22,971 have resulted positive (1,125 are active), 21,394 persons have estimated recovered, 131 are currently hospitalized (50 of which are in the ICU), hospitalization rate 31.0% and 452 have died.
