City, County Confirm 2 New COVID-19 Related Deaths

LAREDO, Texas—The City of Laredo and Webb County have two new confirmed deaths in Webb County related to COVID-19. The City and County want to express their most sincere condolences to the families of those who have lost a loved one through this pandemic and want them to know that our counselors and our teams are available to support them.

The 412th death of a Webb County resident was a female in her mid-80s. She died on Tuesday, December 01, 2020.

The 413th death of a Webb County resident was a female in her early-70s. She died on Wednesday, December 02, 2020.

Stay home if you are sick and call your doctor. Do not go to the doctor’s office, call your doctor first. If it is an emergency, call 9-1-1.

As of 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 02, 2020, a total of 128,316 people have been tested, 20,524 have resulted positive (1,159 are active), 18,952 persons have estimated recovered, 149 are currently hospitalized (48 of which are in the ICU), hospitalization rate 28.6% and 413 have died.
