Free Drive-thru Flu Shot Clinic at the Health Department

LAREDO, TEXAS — Tomorrow, Saturday, November 7, 2020, the City of Laredo Health Department will host a Drive-thru Flu Shot Clinic from 9:00 a.m. until supplies last. The Health Department is located at 2600 Cedar Avenue. Anyone who is interested in getting a flu shot can do so by driving through the Maryland Avenue entrance. These vaccines are free to anyone 6 months old and older.
Vaccines will not be provided to those who have had an allergic reaction after a previous dose of influenza vaccine, if the person has any severe life threatening allergies, or if they previously had Guillain-Barre Syndrome. People with minor illnesses, such as a cold, may be vaccinated. Those who are moderately or severely ill should wait until they recover before getting an influenza vaccine. Everyone must be wearing a mask upon arrival and do not have to get off their vehicles.
