City of Laredo Opens Two Municipal Heated Pools

LAREDO, Texas— The Parks & Recreation Department (Aquatics Division) will be opening two municipal heated pools to the public. The Inner City Pool located at 202 W. Plum & Rev. Deacon Leonel & Irma San Miguel Pool at 10202 International Blvd. will be open starting on Monday, November 16, 2020.
The general public will be able to register online for a class in water aerobics or for lap swimming. The cost will be $30 per month for either class (Credit card fees apply and dates/times vary).

The City is asking participants to practice Covid-19 safety measures by following these rules:
• Wear facemask when out of the water
• Temperature screening at entry
• Social distancing – 6 ft. apart
• Restrooms open, EXCEPT showers and changing areas
• No visitors
• No sharing nor switching lanes
• 2 swimmers per lane
• No social gatherings
• Stay in your designated area
• Arrive at the time of your class
• Once your time is up, you must exit the facility
• Stay in your car until your class time
• Some pool amenities might not be available
