City, County Confirm 1 New COVID-19 Related Death

LAREDO, Texas—The City of Laredo and Webb County have ONE new confirmed deaths in Webb County related to COVID-19. The City and County want to express their most sincere condolences to the families of those who have lost a loved one through this pandemic and want them to know that our counselors and our teams are available to support them.

The 399th death of a Webb County resident was a male in his mid-70s. He died on Sunday, November 29, 2020.

Stay home if you are sick and call your doctor. Do not go to the doctor’s office, call your doctor first. If it is an emergency, call 9-1-1.

As of 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 29, 2020, a total of 121,843 people have been tested, 19,803 have resulted positive (969 are active), 18,435 persons have estimated recovered, 130 are currently hospitalized (44 of which are in the ICU), hospitalization rate 27.1% and 399 have died.
