Webb County Sheriff’s Office Operation Leads to Seizure of More Than 100 Pounds of Marijuana

Laredo, Texas (Webb County) –As a result of an ongoing narcotics investigation, the Webb County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit approached an apartment complex located at 1300 block of Reynolds Street.
After a search of the residence, deputies found a total of 15 bundles of marijuana inside the house. The 15 bundles weighed 115 pounds, with an estimated street value of $34,800. No arrests were made and the investigation continues.
“This is another great operation by our Webb County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit. These drugs could’ve ended in our children’s path. I remind the public to report any suspicious activities by calling 956-415-BUST (2878). You can be eligible for a cash reward,” said Sheriff Martin Cuellar.
