United High School Hosts Senior Parade for the Class of 2021

(Laredo, Texas)-Recently, United High School (UHS) administrators and staff hosted a spirit parade for the Mighty Longhorn Class of 2021. Senior students lined up outside the campus gates, their vehicles adorned with balloons, streamers, posters, and Longhorn flags. The seniors also created massive crowns decorated with memories of their time at United High School.
Administrators and staff, along with senior members of the Mighty Longhorn cheerleaders, Larriettes, football team, and student council, lined the parade path to welcome their fellow seniors. Hundreds of vehicles paraded through the campus streets to honor and celebrate this milestone in their academic careers.
United High School Principal Alberto ALeman, Jr., stated, “We wanted to give our Class of 2021 seniors something that honored their time here at United High School. Because the traditional senior events were canceled due to the pandemic, it was important to my staff and me that we host an event where they can all see each other, even if only from afar.”
