City, County Confirm 3 New COVID-19 Related Deaths

LAREDO, Texas—The City of Laredo and Webb County have three new confirmed deaths in Webb County related to COVID-19. The City and County want to express their most sincere condolences to the families of those who have lost a loved one through this pandemic and want them to know that our counselors and our teams are available to support them.

The 346th death of a Webb County resident was a female in her mid-70s. She died on Saturday, October 17, 2020.

The 347th death of a Webb County resident was a male in his late-70s. He died on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.

The 348th death of a Webb County resident was a female in her early-60s. She died on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.

Stay home if you are sick and call your doctor. Do not go to the doctor’s office, call your doctor first. If it is an emergency, call 9-1-1.

As of 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, a total of 68,160 people have been tested, 14,949 have resulted positive (474 are active), 14,127 persons have estimated recovered, 64 are currently hospitalized (30 of which are in the ICU), hospitalization rate 11.5%, and 348 have died.
