Municipal Court to hold Night Court beginning September 02

(Laredo, Tx)-Laredo Municipal Court Judge Jesus “Chuy” Dominguez announces the addition of night court hours beginning September 02, 2020. The addition of the evening court hours will provide citizens an opportunity to resolve any Municipal Court cases or business while they balance the daily scheduling conflicts often presented by work, life and family.
“Now that virtual schooling has started, I see that many parents are very involved with their children’s education and that priority limits time and availability” Judge Jesus “Chuy” Dominguez, Municipal Court Judge said. “It was essential to extend Laredo Municipal Court hours to accommodate the community during these trying times.”
The night court will be held every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. There will be 4 night court sessions, one session every hour beginning at 5pm until 8pm.
The Laredo Municipal Court reminds the community that due Covid-19 safety protocols all court sessions are still being held virtually. No in-person proceedings until further notice.
