City, County Confirm New COVID-19 Related Deaths

LAREDO, Texas—The City of Laredo and Webb County have confirmed five more deaths in Webb County related to COVID-19. The City and County want to express their most sincere condolences to the families and want them to know that our counselors and our teams are available to support them.
The 100th COVID-19 death of a Webb County resident was a male in his early 70s. He died on Saturday, July 25, 2020.
The 101st COVID-19 death of a Webb County resident was a female in her early 90s. She died on Thursday, July 23, 2020.
The 102nd COVID-19 death of a Webb County resident was a female in her mid-50s. She died on Saturday, July 25, 2020.
The 103rd COVID-19 death of a Webb County resident was a male in his late 70s. He died on Friday, July 24, 2020.
The 104th COVID-19 death of a Webb County resident was a female in her early 90s. She died on Sunday, July 26, 2020.
Stay home if you are sick and call your doctor. Do not go to the doctor’s office, call your doctor first. If it is an emergency, call 9-1-1.
As of 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2020, a total of 16,040 people have been tested, 9,982 people have resulted negative, 5,081 have resulted positive (3,801 are active), 977 test results are pending, 1,176 persons have recovered, 147 are currently hospitalized (62 of which are in the ICU), and 104 have died.
