City, County Confirm 10 New COVID-19 Related Deaths

LAREDO, Texas—The City of Laredo and Webb County have confirmed 10 more deaths in Webb County related to COVID-19. The City and County want to express their most sincere condolences to the families and want them to know that our counselors and our teams are available to support them.
The 105th COVID-19 death of a Webb County resident was a female in her late 80s. She died on Sunday, July 26, 2020.
The 106th COVID-19 death of a Webb County resident was a male in his mid-40s. He died on Sunday, July 26, 2020.
The 107th COVID-19 death of a Webb County resident was a male in his early 90s. He died on Sunday, July 26, 2020.
The 108th COVID-19 death of a Webb County resident was a male in his mid-70s. He died on Sunday, July 26, 2020.
The 109th COVID-19 death of a Webb County resident was a male in his early 50s. He died on Sunday, July 26, 2020.
The 110th COVID-19 death of a Webb County resident was a male in his early 70s. He died on Sunday, July 26, 2020.
The 111th COVID-19 death of a Webb County resident was a male in his late 60s. He died on Monday, July 27, 2020.
The 112th COVID-19 death of a Webb County resident was a male in his early 70s. He died on Saturday, July 25, 2020.
The 113th COVID-19 death of a Webb County resident was a female in her early 70s. He died on Sunday, July 26, 2020.

As of 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 27, 2020, a total of 16,150 people have been tested, 10,042 people have resulted negative, 5,136 have resulted positive (3,846 are active), 972 test results are pending, 1,176 persons have recovered, 162 are currently hospitalized (64 of which are in the ICU), and 114 have died.
