Nye Elementary School Farewell Parade Cheers on Students

(Laredo, Texas)-Recently, Nye elementary school teachers, staff, and special population educators collaborated with parents to organize an end-of-school year parade at the campus on Friday, May 22. Approximately 80 Nye elementary families partook of the festivities by cruising through the campus parking lot. Most of the automobiles were decorated with balloons, posters and messages expressing support and encouragement. Several Nye elementary teachers waved and held signs that celebrated the student’s accomplishments and wished them a happy and safe summer break.
“We are going to miss our students, and we want them to know that we are here to help them in any way that we can”, said Principal Cynthia Caballero. “I also wish to thank our parents and teachers for making this event memorable for our 5th grade Wildcats who will begin middle school in the fall. We wish them the very best in the next chapter of their education”, she concluded.
