Free COVID-19 Testing

LAREDO, Texas—The State of Texas has partnered with the City of Laredo and Webb County to provide free COVID-19 testing to residents of Webb County. Residents can test whether they show symptoms or not. Only one person per household may be tested. If a person is positive, the city and state will conduct contact tracing investigations to further test those who have been exposed. Test results will be available within 24-48 hours.

Those who want to be tested must register with the information as it appears on their government-issued I.D. and bring that same I.D. to their appointment. Residents can register up to 24 hours in advance, either online at www.txcovidtest.org or by phone at (512) 883-2400.

The Texas Military will be conducting testing on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at three locations:

Tuesday, May 5, 2020

·         Rio Bravo Community Center located at 1600 Orquidia, Rio Bravo, Texas 78046

Wednesday, May 6, 2020

·         9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

·         City of Laredo Health Department locatd at 2600 Cedar Ave., Laredo, Texas 78040

Thursday, May 7, 2020

·         9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

·         Fred M. & Anita Bruni Community Center, 452 Rancho Penitas, Laredo, Texas 78045

Services are provided in junction with the Texas Military Department, the Texas Department of State Health Services, Texas Division of Emergency Management, the City of Laredo and Webb County.
