United ISD Announces Registration Dates for New and Returning Students, Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten

(Laredo, Texas)-United ISD’s Online Registration portal will open on Monday, April 20, 2020, to register all current students who will be returning for the 2020-2021 school year. Parents/guardians must have access to the Tyler SIS Parent Portal in order to complete the annual online forms.
In order to better serve all current UISD families, we have added to the process a way for the parents to submit the parent ID’s and proof of residency documents without physically going to the schools. Parents will simply attach the documents to the online forms as a picture (jpeg) or as a scanned document and submit them with the forms.
If parents do not have access to a computer or have means to access their account, they can call the school where their children will attend and they will provide assistance, or they can call the Admissions Office at 473-6349.
Parents who had already scheduled appointments for Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten before the district closure will be contacted in the order that their initial appointments were received for further instructions. Parents/guardians who wish to enroll their child(ren) in Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten for the 2020-2021 academic year should contact the campus where they will be attending school for further information.
New families to the district will also be able to ‘pre-register’ all new students through the portal by clicking the “Register New Family” portal beginning on May 4, 2020. Besides the online forms, additional documentation must be submitted in order to complete the registration.
