City of Laredo Statement on COVID-19 Tests

LAREDO, Texas—The City of Laredo has issued the following statement in regards to local COVID-19 tests that are pending confirmation:
The City of Laredo is notifying the public of a presumptive case regarding COVID-19. The test has been sent to San Antonio for confirmation by the CDC and the city expects results tomorrow afternoon. There are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Laredo at this time. We encourage the public to practice good hygiene including washing their hands often, staying at home and avoiding large crowds during this time. Do not stockpile grocery items; only take what you would normally consume. There is no shortage of items. Grocery stores are restocking daily.
