United ISD and the Fine Arts Department Region XIV 9th Grade Band Clinic & Concert

United ISD and the Fine Arts Department are proud to host the annual Region XIV 9th Grade Clinic and Concert on Friday, January 31, 2020. The concert will be held at UISD’s Bill Johnson Student Activity Complex Auditorium, and begins at 6:00 PM.
Admission charge is $3.00 for Adults, and $1.00 for school age students (with school ID).
This concert will feature 9th grade band members from LISD, UISD, Gregory Portland and Flour Bluff HS. These students qualified for this band through an audition process that required them to perform 3 prepared musical etudes for a panel of judges.
Students will rehearse on Thursday afternoon and Friday at the SAC Auditorium to prepare for the concert. Juan G. Sosa, JW Nixon HS Band Director is the TMEA Region XIV 9th Grade Region Chair. The public is invited to attend.
