Salvador Garcia Middle Holds Annual Career Expo

(Laredo, Texas)-Salvador Garcia Middle School (SGMS) recently held its annual Career Expo. The presenters included CBP Agriculture and other departments of CBP, Border Patrol, Webb County Probation Officers, Rio Bravo Fire Department, Ms. TX USA-& Rio Bravo City Hall, LPD investigators, Commissioners, LC presenters, Probation Officers, Barbers, DJs, nurses, and more. Some of the presenters generously donated their services to the students of SGMS: Gallo Fino Barber Shop & The Gentlemens Quarters Barbershop donate $500 dollars worth of haircuts.
The Professional Cosmetology Academy Instructors donated haircuts, as well. SGMS Principal Alfredo Palapa would like to thank each and every presenter for traveling to Rio Bravo, TX to speak with the students of SGMS. “It was an amazing experience for our students and we really appreciate each and every presenter that took the time to travel and speak with our students about their profession,” said Palapa.
