Laredo Book Festival Celebrates its 10th Anniversary

LAREDO, Texas—The Laredo Book Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary on Saturday, December 14, 2019. The annual event promotes reading and instills enthusiasm for literature, authors, and the arts. Through puppet shows, author readings, literary mascots, workshops, and crafts, the community comes together to enjoy what is best about literature and books.
Over 20 regional authors will be showcased and children’s author, Laura Numeroff will headline the event. Laura Numeroff is the author of If You Give a Mouse a Cookie and other children’s classics. McDonalds will sponsor a super special “Breakfast with the Mascots” at 9:00 a.m. that day.
