(Laredo, Texas)-United ISD Federal Programs will host the District’s annual Parent Learning Summit on Saturday, November 9,2019, @ United High School. located at 2811 United Avenue. This event is free and open to all UISD parents, and will include informative sessions and resources that guide them on helping their children in the classroom and at home.
This year, the District is honored to have guest speaker Raul Mateo Magdaleno – internationally known community servant leader and professional empowerment speaker. Magdaleno will bring an inspiring story that stresses the importance of never giving up on the pursuit of an education.
Parents will be offered complimentary breakfast/lunch, and a chance to win door prizes. (Must be present to win).While parking is available at United High School, space is limited, so an early arrival is recommended.
