Muller Elementary Raises Funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

(Laredo, Texas)-Muller elementary students and staff held a week-long Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), fundraising effort that included a walk. Their efforts raised $2,423.50.“We dedicated this year’s campaign to a couple of our Muller students who are affected by type 1 Diabetes.
All of the funds have been donated to JDRF of South Texas, ” said Principal Mayra Ramirez. JDRF is a nonprofit organization that funds Type 1 Diabetes research, which includes prevention and better management of the disease.
