Kazen Elementary Hosts Veteran Celebration

(Laredo, Texas)-Kazen Elementary School welcomed local veterans for breakfast and a celebration in the campus cafeteria. Principal Monica Arriaga welcomed veterans, their families, and special guests.
Guests were treated to special performances by the Washington Middle School Sparklers Dance Team and The Mighty Bobcat Band. Kazen Elementary students recited poetry and Kazen Lions Honors Choir sung to an all American repertoire.
The kindergarten students marched proudly through the cafeteria waving their US Flags. The event concluded with an honorary medal ceremony to reflect a sincere appreciation for generations of veterans who have given of themselves to preserve freedom at home and combat tyranny the world over.
