I Don’t Quit with Mateo Magdaleno

(Laredo, Texas)-Thanks to the Department of Federal and State Programs, United ISD students had the opportunity to meet Mateo Magdaleno, Chief Education Officer for IDQ Group Inc. Mr. Magdaleno shared his incredible life story with the children and talked to them about the importance of never giving up, or as his company’s acronym states, “I Don’t Quit.” He engaged with the students and moved around the auditorium, addressing them directly.
With high energy and enthusiasm, he reached every student, he even gifted one of them his tie and asked the student to promise to wear it the day he graduates from college. Mr. Magdaleno will also be the guest speaker at this year’s Parent Summit.
