(Laredo, Texas)-A Tradition of Excellence is one of United ISD’s mantras, so it is within that scope that ten students from United ISD’s middle schools received recognition as outstanding 8th graders of the month. The selected students represent the best of the best amongst their peers and are an example of the high standards that United ISD sets for all of its students.
Their teachers nominate each and every one of these students for their achievements, extracurricular activities, community involvement, and their ability to stand out as exemplary pupils. Multiple organizations around the city, such as the Laredo Police Department, Laredo Emergency, and KGNS television, are the main sponsors for this event.
