Junior Achievement Sponsors Ruiz Elementary

(Laredo, Texas)-Recently, Junior Achievement of Laredo held a press conference at Ruiz Elementary to announce sponsorship of the elementary school. Mr. Bill Green, Junior Achievement Executive Board Member, facilitated the grant that made this sponsorship possible. As per the sponsorship, Lyndon B. Johnson High School’s Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) program will mentor students at Ruiz Elementary on gaining life skills and financial responsibility. The LBJ TAFE students include Ruth Chavez, Daniela Vargas, April Chavez, Lizbeth Chavez, Mariana Garcia, Joan Reynero, and Montseratt Texis, and club sponsors Nina Gamez and Cesar Llano.
